MY TRAINING

Healthy can be simple with an integrative approach to health.

Melissa Ngui is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who wrestled with binge eating and cravings in her past before learning how to overcome them. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC where she learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between. Mel holds a Master’s in Business Administration, Master’s in Marketing, and has a background in Neurolinguistic Programming and Aromatherapy.

Her education has equipped her with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. She draws on her varied expertise to help clients make sustainable health-promoting lifestyle changes. Clients develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for them and improve their energy, balance, health, and happiness. Mel is trained to work alongside registered physicians to help her clients implement the dietary and lifestyle changes needed to achieve their wellness goals.

OUR APPROACH 

Until you get your lifestyle right, nothing is going to change.

Most approaches to healthy living dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, we coach you to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our sessions together. Mel takes an integrative approach to nutrition by looking at how each client’s lifestyle affects their relationship with food. She takes a bio-individualized approach to nutrition and coaching so that each client’s lifestyle change is best suited to their unique situation. 

Clients find a supportive environment that enables them to safely articulate and achieve their wellness goals despite their busy schedules. Each session leaves clients feeling inspired and motivated. We discuss topics beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationships as well as career and money. Mel personally and carefully guides you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
